DUBAI — Traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road moved at a snail’s pace for more than two hours after a car deviated from its lane, swerved to the right and rammed into another car around 4.45pm on Saturday.
The accident resulted in eight more vehicles knocking into each other. However, only four of the vehicles were damaged, according to a duty officer at Dubai Police Operations Room. No one was reported injured in the accident.
Until 7.15pm, police and rescue teams were busy clearing the area and easing the flow of traffic.
