Brad Pitt says that although his father was tough on him, he himself is a disciplinarian with his sons.
The 51-year-old actor grew up in a Southern Baptist household.
"My father was very tough... I am a disciplinarian with the boys. Girls do no wrong so I don't have to be. I feel like my job is to show them around, help them find what they want to do with their life, put as many things in front of them, and pull them back when they get out of line, so they know who they are," the Telegraph Magazine quoted Pitt as saying.
Pitt says he and his actress wife Angelina Jolie were keen to have 12 children together. "Listen, Angie and I were aiming for a dozen children, but we c***ped out after six," Pitt told the Daily Telegraph newspaper, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The actor said that their family life can also be chaotic at times. "It's a lot of love, a lot of fighting, a lot of refereeing, a lot of teeth-brushing and spilling... Chaos, total chaos. But so much fun," he said.
