With a little help from the Emirates pilot Ashley and crew, popular US talk show host, Ellen (The Ellen DeGeneres Show) surprised everyone in her audience with a round-trip ticket to Dubai from Emirates.
Taking a page from former talk show queen, Oprah Winfrey, Ellen too is known for giving away freebies on her show - and this time it was a free round-trip ticket to Dubai and South Africa - sponsored by Emirates as part of their Big Take Off campaign.
In this case, two audience members are told that they will be competing, in a 'mock quiz' for the free tickets - a seven night vacation from Emirates to Dubai and South Africa as well as $2,000 spending money.
The quiz questions were related to Emirates airline.
After winning the mock quiz, pilot Ashley awarded her the prize - only to reveal that she had to play a bonus round where the winner had to pick a number from 1 to 5, displayed on the screen, and every audience member would win the same prize based on which number she picked and the prize behind it.
The contestant chose number 5, which was tickets to Dubai for everyone in the audience.

The Big Take Off was launched to encourage Americans to use up their vacation days, Emirates said in a statement.
"[The campaign] is a strategic campaign for Emirates this summer travel season, which is based on an insight that Americans do not take advantage of all of their vacation days," said Rob Gurney, senior vice president of commercial operations (The Americas).
"It's been demonstrated that after a vacation, you're better at your job, happier, well-rested, and more culturally-inspired. It's for this reason that we are extending the campaign beyond national broadcast integration and opening up the opportunity to those residing in the US through a social media-based sweepstake, The Big Takeoff, and special companion fares," Gurney said.
DeGeneres debuted the Ellen DeGeneres show in 2003 and has since won 36 Daytime Emmy Awards.
The campaign seeks to offer the average American the change to take a break in Dubai, since the average American leaves eight vacation days unused.
One of the world's most global airlines, wants people to enjoy every one of them!
This is not the first time the show has flown guests to the UAE - in 2015, Ellen picked an audience member, along with actor Vin Diesel, for a 13-day trip to Abu Dhabi as part of the Fast and Furious 7 promotional campaign.
Here's a video of the mock quiz from the recent episode:
