TALENTED PERFORMER GAB Valenciano, son of "Mr. Pure Energy" Gary Valenciano, has been nominated in the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards for his contribution to Beyonce's music video 7/11. The younger Valenciano is listed as one of the nominees for Best Choreography, alongside Beyonce and Chris Grant.
They are competing against OK Go, air:man and Mori Harano (OK Go's I Won't Let You Down); Ryan Heffington (Chet Faker's Gold); Nappy Tabs (Ed Sheeran's Don't); and Keone and Mari Madrid (Flying Lotus' Never Catch Me).
Valenciano's viral "super selfie" video is widely known as the inspiration for Beyonce's 7/11, which sees her dancing around in what appears to be a hotel suite in a sweatshirt and underwear. It has racked up over 240 million views on YouTube.
