Love wins for Pauleen Luna and Vic Sotto, despite age gap

Sotto first confirmed his relationship with Luna, who is 35 years younger than him, back in December 2013.

TWENTY-SEVEN-YEAR-OLD ACTRESS Pauleen Luna had exchanged vows with 61-year old veteran comedian Vic Sotto in a private wedding held at St. James TheGreat Parish Church in Alabang on Saturday.
In the couple's official wedding video captured by Jason Magbanua, which features a song especially written for the occassion by indie singer-songwriter Reese Lansangan, Luna said she will always be grateful to Sotto for making her feel that what they have is genuine love.
"Our story is not ideal. And a lot of people didn't understand us, didn't understand the kind of love that we have - a love that's so genuine, it was just unbreakable," she said.
The nearly five-minute clip also shows Sotto being his usual comic self before their guests. It likewise shows the emotional groom when he saw Luna on her way to the altar. Addressing his vow to his children and his wife, Sotto said: "In this instance, I felt how much you respect me and I truly felt the depth of your love for me. And to you my wife, I love you forever."

The star-studded wedding entourage included, among many other celebrities, Miss Universe and Pauleen Luna's best friend - Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, Eat Bulaga co-hosts, Joey De leon, Ruby Rodriguez, Paolo Ballesteros, Wally Bayola and famous love team Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza.
