Purab wants mass appeal

7 November 2009

Veejay-turned-actor Purab Kohli, known for off-beat films like My Brother Nikhil and Rock On, says he desires to work in an out-and-out Bollywood masala film to reach out to masses.

“I think every actor’s desire is that his film is watched by maximum number of audiences. I would absolutely love to work in a Bollywood masala film so that I can reach the masses. I am quite keen on big banner films,” Purab said in a press release.

The actor also said he is now keen on big budget projects.

Purab made his Bollywood debut in 2003 with Bas Yun Hi opposite Nandita Das and went on to do other character roles in films like Vaastu Shastra and Yeh Mera India. But he hogged maximum limelight for playing Killer Drummer in Rock On.
