Vidya Balan to walk the ramp in Dubai

Besides the fact that she is arguably one of the most talented actors in Bollywood, if there is one thing Vidya Balan doesn't get enough credit for, it is this. Armchair fashionistas - among whom are many who won't be able to put together an entire outfit if it doesn't come packaged together - have been more than happy to rip apart her style credentials, from the way she drapes her saris to the choice of ethnic outfits she loves to sport. But there is no denying that Balan is responsible for bringing the sari back into focus on the red carpet and in the bargain ensured that comfort and personal fashion preferences come ahead of any other thing. 
Now we hear that Balan will be in town on September 17 at Taj Dubai, Business Bay to walk the ramp for Indian designer Gaurang Shah and Mira Sagar for their Shringar collection. While Balan could well be the showstopper of the evening, we have been informed that ten of India's top models will be displaying the designers' festive collection of saris and wedding ensembles at the event.
