Red Bull Music Academy presents Dam-Funk

He will be playing from his latest album Invite The Light, out in September, as well delving into his vast repertoire with some classic tracks.

On Friday, September 18, one of the world's most respected artists in the world of beats, funk, boogie, hip-hop and disco's modern day culture, Dam-Funk will take the stage at The Music Room, Majestic Hotel in Bur Dubai, as part of the Red Bull Music Academy. Dam-Funk will be performing a solo live show and DJ set consisting of multiple synths, synth guitar, vocoder, vocals, samples and live beats.
He will be playing from his latest album Invite The Light, out in September, as well delving into his vast repertoire with some classic tracks. Dam's partnership with record label Stones Throw has seen the release of his debut Toeachizown (2009) and Invite the Light, as well as an anthology of early productions, Adolescent Funk (2010), to Higher( 2013) with Steve Arrington and 7 Days of Funk (2013) with Snoop Dogg.
