'Sur Chander Jaa' to feature songs by legendary maestro.

The Sindhi community can look forward to the upcoming programme 'Sur Chander Jaa', taking place on January 15 at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Dubai. Organised by Asha Chand, the programme will present dance, music and comedy, and promises to please the fans of legendary music maestro Master Chander.
"Sur Chander Jaa will feature songs from Master Chander's prolific repertoire of over 1,000 songs, spanning 50 years of his singing career. Putting the spotlight on such a legend will generate high levels of interest and enthusiasm amongst our viewers while underlining the show's key goal of bringing the best of Sindhi culture to our audience in the UAE," said Chand.
The show will feature Mahesh Chander, the younger son of Master Chander, Anil Chander (grandson of Master Chander) from New York, Siya Pahuja and Maria Baloch.
Added Chand, "The artistes will take the listeners on a nostalgic musical journey into the past."
Asha Chand's singular goal is to promote Sindhi culture for the Sindhi community and diaspora settled across the globe through YouTube, Facebook and other social media as well as educational CDs. She has produced several Sindhi telefilms and documentaries.
