Dubai Sports Council lends support to annual event

Mark your calendars, The Color Run is back! The 'Happiest 5k on the Planet', marked this year for November 21, provides an untimed, unpressurised and family-friendly exercise environment in which to combat obesity and excite people about getting fit.
Dubai Sports Council has once again lent its support to The Color Run, which aims to drive healthier and more active lifestyles throughout the UAE.
Saeed Harib, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, said: "The Color Run presented by Daman's ActiveLife has proven to be an extremely popular event in Dubai, attracting more than 20,000 participants since it launched in 2013. Both the event and Daman's ActiveLife share our own aspirations of creating accessible platforms for exercise that will lead to a healthier community and nation."
