Clean Bandit, Idris Elba to headline DXBeach festival

The Zero Gravity music festival will return on October 23 with a slew of of performers

DXBEACH IS back next month with another eye-popping line-up of artists for music festival lovers.
Headlining the 15-hour event on October 23 will be Clean Bandit. The 2015 Grammy Award-winning group, who have turned their classical string quartet roots into the electro/house/pop music fusion currently taking the world by storm, will perform live on the DXBeach stage at Zero Gravity in Dubai Marina. The UK band behind this year's biggest dance track Rather Be, Real Love, Extraordinary and Stronger are in-demand across the globe, and promise an exhilarating set.
Amid filming for Dubai-shot buzz movie, Star Trek Beyond, Idris Elba will bring a dash of Hollywood to DXBeach. Best known for his starring roles as Nelson Mandela, John Luther (Luther) and Russell "Stringer" Bell (The Wire), the smooth British actor also happens to be a talented hip-hop/soul DJ to his core, and is set to showcase his musical passion to the throngs of dancing DXBeach fans.
Also performing is French producer Klingande, who aimed to "bring love, happiness and the feeling of summer to the people" with the tropical house tune Jubel. Having stormed the European charts, and seen Jubel listed as one of the top 25 most 'Shazam-ed' tracks of all time, Klingande (Swedish for 'sound' or 'chime') is currently enjoying global success.
BBC Radio 1's Mistajam will bring a decade of mash-up genius to the DXBeach decks, while Dutch producer Mike Mago will pull huge house tracks - including the smash collaboration with Dragonette, Outlines - from his globally-respected repertoire, to complete this day-to-night festival.
Zero Gravity will be offering a limited space DXBrunch between 12pm and 3pm on the venue's upper deck and terrace, priced from Dhs495 (standard package). This will include access to the festival.
