Chitrangada Singh of Desi Boyz and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi is ready to set the stage on fire with great music and an electrifying performance at Dubai's Al Mamzar Park tonight. Bollywood fans have a chance to celebrate the onset of the New Year with tons of popular Hindi numbers. Artists like Mink Brar and Falak Shabir are also gearing up to entice audiences tonight at the same venue. We chatted with Chitrangada Singh ahead of her performance in the city.
How do you feel about performing on New Year's Eve at Country Club?
I am looking forward to performing for the first time on New Year's Eve. I am super excited as this also marks my first show in Dubai. It is a great pleasure to be associated with Country Club.
How do you generally like to celebrate New Year?
It's usually a family affair. I mostly have a house party with some of my family and closest friends to ring in the New Year.
Are you good with New Year resolutions? If yes, what are your resolutions for 2016?
I am someone who makes resolutions throughout the year. When it comes to keeping my resolutions I would rate myself a 5 on 10, so I would say I am pretty good at keeping them.
How was 2015 for you?
It has been a great year for me. It has been about working on the resolutions I made at the beginning of the year and making them come true. It has required a lot of hard work and focus on my part.
What are your plans for 2016?
I am really looking forward to 2016. I have set myself some goals and have a few things in the pipeline which I hope to achieve in the upcoming year.
Could you take us through your forthcoming film projects?
I have two upcoming films for 2016. Bandookbaaz which is a film I am doing with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. I also have a film called Band of Maharajas, in which I am playing the role of a Pakistani musician.
