Jamie Foxx voices support for Tarantino

After Quentin Tarantino was slammed by the National Association of Police Organizations for his protests on police brutality, Jamie Foxx has come to his Django Unchained director's defense.
Foxx took the stage at the Hollywood Film Awards on Sunday to introduce the cast of Tarantino's latest film, Hateful Eight.
"Keep telling the truth and don't worry about none of the haters," Foxx said, addressing Tarantino.
Tarantino himself was not at the awards show. The cast did not address the controversy as it accepted its ensemble award.
Tarantino has drawn ire from police groups in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and New Jersey after partaking in an anti-police protest on October 24, with the organisations calling for a boycott of Tarantino's movies.
"I'm a human being with a conscience," Tarantino said at the rally. "And if you believe there's murder going on then you need to rise up and stand up against it. I'm here to say I'm on the side of the murdered."
The National Association of Police Organizations came out against Tarantino on October 30, calling on officers to stop working special assignments or off-duty jobs, such as traffic control, technical advice or security, to the director's movies. "We need to send a loud and clear message that such hateful rhetoric against police officers is unacceptable," the organisation said in its statement.
