Salman Khan who is currently shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai in Abu Dhabi, Liwa and Al Ain popped by Dubai to unveil the first song of his upcoming film Tubelight which will have an Eid release.
Salman was accompanied by his brother Sohail Khan and Tubelight director Kabir Khan.
Tubelight is set against the backdrop of Indo-China war and tells the story of a simpleton who is waiting for his brother to return from the war. The movie primarily highlights the power of good intentions and hope.
Salman Khan - "There was a time when I had no interest to work in life. I wanted to survive by doing less work. That point of time I started doing action movies and taking my work very seriously.
I was suffering from nerve problem called trigeminal neuralgia and I had a huge amount of pain. I suffered this pain for seven and a half years. At that point of time, I realised that no matter how much pain you are going through you need to give your best on screen. Even if your ligament is torn or your knee is hurting, your fans don't care. You have to give your best on screen."
When Dubai's rich kid met Salman Khan
Kabir Khan - "During our first film Ek Tha Tiger, we had issues and debates because we come from different sensibilities. But the reason why we are being appreciated is that we have blended those two. Sometimes, I get too real and Salman pulls me up to go a bit mainstream. I try to put more logic and that blend goes well."
Salman told us that he cried a lot during the shooting of this movie.
