Popular Pakistani TV actress Saba Qamar seems to have started work on her debut Bollywood film opposite Irrfan Khan.

Candid photos - posted recently - from the shoot went viral on social media, showing the Pakistani beauty and star Khan bonding on the sets of the yet untitled film.

It was earlier announced in April that Qamar will star opposite Indian actor Irrfan in a new movie to be produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar.

The actress, whose performance as Noor in the film "Manto" was widely appreciated, will be directed by Saket Chaudhary, who has earlier delivered "Pyaar Ke Side Effects" and "Shaadi Ke Side Effects". The movie will be in the fun and slice-of-life space.

The makers felt that the vivacious actress would be apt to play the character that they had in mind, and impressed by her screen presence and confidence, Vijan finalised her for the role, read a statement.

A yet untitled project, it will go on the floors in August. Qamar says the story of the film is a "little like" Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone starrer Hindi film "Piku".

"It's a family-oriented story of a husband and wife. It has a young, fresh vibe and the wife is a little dominating. People will surely like it," Saba had told dawn.com.

"The film is a little like that Deepika film, 'Piku'," she added.

For the shooting of the film, which is set to begin in August, Qamar had told she would visit India.

In an interview to Pakistan's Express Tribune, the TV star had said that she will not do bold scenes in Bollywood.

Qamar has build up a massive fan following in Pakistan with her impressive body of work over the past decade, mostly on television. Making her Bollywood debut opposite the stellar Irrfan, the film will be eagerly awaited on both sides of the border.
