Pakistani singer Salma Agha to get life time Indian visa

Having given her voice to a few Bollywood films, Pakistani born singer Salma Agha will be granted Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card.
The actress is a British citizen, with grandparents hailing from India.
Agha had applied for the card seeking multiple entries, multi-purpose life-long visa to India and exemption from reporting to police authorities for any length of stay in the country.
ANI news agency quoted Ministry of Home Affairs of India saying that Salma Agha will be getting life time Indian visa along with the OCI card.
The card gives equality to an individual with Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) in financial, economic and educational fields except in the acquisition of agricultural or plantation properties.
Salma Agha also performed in some Bollywood films. She won filmfare award for the best female playback singer in 1982 for the movie 'Nikaah."
