Mumbai - Madhuri Dixit who played the role of Chandramukhi in the movie decided to celebrate the movie's anniversary in the most novel of the ways.

On the 14^th anniversary of the release of "Devdas" on Tuesday, it's lead actor Shah Rukh Khan said the 2002 Bollywood film will always be special to him.
"Devdas" directed by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, tells the story about a man named Devdas, who is in love with Paro since childhood. But when Devdas's family doesn't approve of their relationship, he leaves the house and seeks refuge at a brothel, owned by Chandramukhi.

She made her Dubsmash debut with Varun Dhawan, enacting one of the scenes from 'Devdas'.
The results of this Dubsmash turned out to be absolutely fabulous.
Reminiscing the film, Shah Rukh took to micro-blogging site Twitter to thank the director and the cast.

He too had starred himself in a Dubsmash video delivering the iconic dialogues from this movie.
The film saw actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the role of Paro, Devdas's love interest and Madhuri Dixit Nene as Chandramukhi, a courtesan who falls in love with the 50-year-old actor's onscreen character.
Based on the 1917 Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay's novel "Devdas", the film also featured Kirron Kher and Jackie Shroff among many others in pivotal roles.
