Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone has had yet another remarkable year, with all her three releases in 2015 crossing the Rs1 billion mark - getting both critical and commercial acclaim.

Padukone, who had the distinction of being the only female Indian celebrity to be ranked among the top 10 of Forbes India Celebrity 100 list this year, earned a whopping Rs590 million this year.

The year started off for the 29-year-old with the release of Piku in May, co-starring opposite veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan. Piku went on to earn an estimated Rs1 billion, globally (including India):

In November, Deepika once again paired with Ranbir, after Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani for Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha', which released in November. The movie also entered the Rs1 billion club in global box office collection. The movie, despite being panned by critics proved to be a commercial hit for the Ranbir-Deepika pair:

Considered the queen of Bollywood, Padukone ended the year on a high note, with the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much delayed and much awaited magnum opus, 'Bajirao Mastani'. Released on December 18, against Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dilwale' and the news Star Wars sequel 'The Force Awakens', the Ranveer Singh-Deepika starrer has received both commercial and critical acclaim worldwide. Even stalwart Amitabh Bachchan was left spellbound by the movie and the cast's performance:

The movie crossed the Rs1 billion mark within four days since it's release and is still going strong at the box office.

The young superstar also had a super year on social media, crossing 30 million likes on Facebook and staying strong as the second most followed female Asian celeb on Twitter with 12.6 million followers.

Tweeting a picture of her with Hollywood action star, Vin Diesel, Padukone has sparked rumors that she might foray into Hollywood, too.

All we can say is - more power to the queen in 2016.
