RITEISH DESHMUKH, WHO plays one of the leading roles in Bangistan, recently spoke about the film.
"Housefull, Dhamaal, Masti were physical comedies having slapstick and loud humour but Bangistan is poker face," said Riteish.
"There are a lot of films where there are extraordinary reactions to ordinary situations but in this film, there are extraordinary situations so you have to be ordinary to get the humour out," he added.
The story of Bangistan revolves around two blundering terrorists with lofty ideologies but ordinary talent who are on a mission to change the world. Directed by Karan Anshuman and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani, the film also features Pulkit Samrat.
"In Bangistan my character is pretty interesting and I enjoyed playing the part. It is also the first time that I was getting an opportunity to act with Riteish, so I was very excited. The script was very nice and intelligently written. A serious issue has been portrayed in a funny manner in the film," Pulkit said.
The movie is set to release on July 30. IANS
