The Robotic Technology Exhibition (RTEX) is the only dedicated robotics and automation event in the Middle East and North Africa region. The three-day event will feature exhibitors from across the world who will showcase the latest and best in technologically-empowered equipment, machinery and technical services catering to industrial automation applications, drone industry, as well as emerging consumer applications. The event will also feature an engaging conference and immersive workshops that will focus on the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence, sensors and receptors, and machine-to-machine and machine-to-human interfaces and interactions.
We have made great progress in the last century and the great leaps in technology have been made possible by the small and steady steps in the field of robotics. Robotics, in fact, has been the driving motivation pushing the limits of human ingenuity and innovation for over 500 years. It is finally the dawn of a new era in which machines are able to work autonomously in diverse environments driving up industrial production and efficiency while minimising the risk to human health and safety. Open-source robotics, a global community of collaborative robotics developers, cheaper and easily accessible electronic components and 3D printing are making technology more useful and accessible to new end-users everyday. RTEX is the regional platform enabling local businesses and government entities greater access to global technology providers thus complementing the innovation pipeline in the UAE and fostering the research and development of new technologies and ideas in the field of robotics and automation.
RTEX 2015 will create a genuine platform for new, forward thinking ideas in robotics to be discussed and demonstrated. The event will showcase how robotics is being used across a number of industries as well as consumer applications. The exhibition will also serve as a great networking opportunity for public sector representatives, trade visitors, and exhibitors. Featuring some of the most exciting technology innovators, manufacturers, component suppliers, start-ups and end-users, RTEX represents a genuine platform that will promote new ideas, forge partnerships and provide business opportunities for all parties.
Organised by Palladium Exhibition Organisers in partnership with Dubai Customs, the UAE Ministry of Education, Lockheed Martin, The Society of Engineers UAE and Future Robot, the second Robotic Technology Exhibition will take place from September 29 - October 1 2015 at The Meydan (Gallery).
