Majid Al Futtaim on Monday officially inaugurated Dh150 million City Centre Al Shindagha in one of Dubai's most historic areas.

It's the 7th City Centre mall in the UAE, and the 13th in the wider Middle East region by the Dubai-based mall company.

City Centre Al Shindagha caters to the needs of residents, tourists and professionals working in the area by offering a comprehensive mix of 75 retail outlets, including Carrefour hypermarket, Splash, Babyshop, Max Fashion, and Sharaf DG, in addition to entertainment options of Magic Planet and a seven-screen cinema multiplex.

With its proximity to the Dubai Creek and the area's tradition as a trading hub, Shindagha is an ideal location for the new City Centre in the Bur Dubai area.

City Centre Al Shindagha offers a convenient and accessible retail experience which meets the growing demand for smaller lifestyle malls in Dubai that provide a tailor-made mix of retail options, international dining outlets and premium family entertainment.

It builds on the success of an existing Carrefour hypermarket, open since September 2002 and among the first 5 Carrefour hypermarkets operating in the emirates.

The mall offers a carefully considered mix of shops and services to meet the daily and weekly shopping needs of nearby residential communities, as well as tourists visiting the historic Dubai Creek and heritage sites, and professionals employed in the area.

City Centre Al Shindagha has 24,500 sq. m of gross leasable area over 2 levels, featuring contemporary world-class design, sustainability measures, accessibility and premium finish.
