The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has unveiled a revamped website, featuring an easy browsing system and services tailored to a range of customer demographics. The new system is embedded with options for six languages, namely Arabic, English, Spanish, Chinese, French and Russian.

The announcement was made at a ceremony attended by Sultan Butti bin Mejren, director-general of DLD, as well as directors and officers from the IT department.

Bin Mejren said: "We will continue to develop our electronic services as we endeavour to integrate the best of technologies in order to keep abreast of developments."

Abdullah Al Yaloug, director of the IT department at DLD, said: "Our revamped website will provide a user-friendly experience with a range of enhancements and technical improvements, all of which are aimed towards ensuring our customers' comfort, and at gaining trust in our organisation. The launch of this site represents our efforts to provide the very best services to our customers in a smooth and seamless way. The website's aspects are tailored from thorough research on our users, taking into consideration a variety of demographics and purposes of entry to the site, as well as different levels of ability in dealing with these technologies."

The renovated site features unique characteristics such as easy navigation and a choice of services and information. It includes the location of all department services, including the real estate investment map, Dubai real estate market 'EMart' and provides an introduction to all affiliations and departments.

The new DLD website implements the government of Dubai's Smart website criteria, through its focus on the arrangement and classification of services based on customer segmentation. These advanced features enable customers to search for services in a variety of ways, including by department or available services.
