Gulf Sotheby's International Realty, a luxury real estate firm, along with its partner Bellevue, has closed the highest property transaction ever recorded for an Emirates Hills villa.

It took 18 months to close the deal.

The Dh100 million villa spans 42,000 square feet and houses eight en-suite bedrooms along with entertainment areas.
Both the seller and agent appreciated that by allowing a significant period of time to find the right buyer, the villa would be sold to the right person, at the right price.
"We understand the real estate market is cyclical," said Leigh Williamson, associate at Gulf Sotheby's International Realty. "There are buyers in the market who look for properties of this prominence and it is our responsibility to advise our clients on when to buy and sell, especially when it comes to properties of this significance. Although, buyers are much harder to find due to the nature of these properties and the prices, it's our job to make it happen. We know exactly who to look for when a property like this comes onto the market."
"For the buyer, it was not just about the price, it was about the build quality and attention to detail that easily surpasses most luxury homes of this type in the city."
