Dubai - XXII Carat villa complex's 22 properties have tubs carved out of precious rock crystals.

You can get soaked in The XXII Carat villa complex, which houses some of the most expensive bathrooms in the world.

Scheduled to open later this year on Palm Jumeriah in Dubai, the 22 properties here have deep tubs carved out of precious rock crystals sourced from the Brazilian Amazon jungle, says a Daily Mail report.

The glimmering centrepieces were crafted by Florence-based company Baldi Home Jewels.
How does it feel to bathe in one of these tubs? Luca Baldi, CEO of Baldi, told MailOnline Travel that it "transcends reality". He said: "They offer the ultimate escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life. An experience of blissful connection with nature, it is a primitive sensation, which reaches the highest level of pleasure."

"The residents of XXII Carat villas in Dubai will be among the first in the world to bathe in these remarkable tubs and enjoy the truly unique, magical and luxurious experience. The rocks, weighing over 10,000kg, were transported from South America to the Middle East. The boulders were then split in half, before specialists spent hundreds of hours sandpapering the carved chunks down, the Daily Mail report says.

Forum group, which unveiled its iconic development - XXII Carat at the Palm Jumeirah West Crest, had claimed residents of the Mediterranean architectural inspired villas will enjoy a luxury hotel-inspired lifestyle offering spacious accommodation with exclusive access to private beachfronts spanning 720 feet with 360° views of Dubai city and the Arabian Gulf.

The residential villa size varies from approximately 8,000-13,000 square feet while plot size is ranging between 16,000 and 25,000 square feet. The residents of this gated community will have exclusive private beach access as well as the ultimate waterfront living experience.

The starting price of a villa is Dh40 million and it will go up to Dh75 million. The villas are expected to be delivered by the end of 2017.
