Romika Fazeli, founder of RF Event and Model Management, has been successfully organising network events for key industries for over a decade. Through those events, she has built a strong database of over 6,000 senior managers and directors across different industries and many friends.
RF Event and Model Management is a full-service event planning and model/hostess management company with clients in oil and gas, marine, railway, luxury automotive, luxury retail and construction sectors.

"Being well-connected in the UAE was one of the main reasons my clients started approaching me for recommendations and suggestions. When they need assistance while visiting, moving, staying or operating in the UAE, they call my company to assist them," explains Fazeli.

She realised that her clients and friends enjoyed her suggestions and recommendations. That is how she conceptualised the idea of Emirates World Club, a VIP lifestyle event management company to offer customised solutions to travellers and the UAE's elite residents.

Emirates World Club offers its members the privilege to experience some of the UAE's most luxurious networks of hotels, restaurants, transportation, health and beauty services and much more.

What's on offer
"We provide exclusive services to the world's elite. Our mission is to satisfy our members' search for a more comfortable, worry-free and luxurious life and an unforgettable experience for travellers whether booking a restaurant, assisting their travels abroad or when relocating and even personal shopping. Our large variety of services provides everything our client may need in their daily and corporate lives," says Fazeli.

She has extended the concept of Emirates World Club since it was launched. "I always like to add or change services which I believe will be very helpful to the whole community," says Fazeli.

She recently launched Emirates World Club's Private Society, which she claims will be a game changer. "We are offering the most elite platform for senior management to socialise at our networking events, private dinners and getaways. Socialising is one of the small factors - the platform and the nature of the events we organise also provide a unique and casual concept for business development," says Fazeli.

The entrepreneur says networking at a high level has become the most important aspect of a successful business worldwide.

"Lack of opportunity and time to meet the right people at the right time are two factors I had in mind while creating the concept of Emirates World Club and the Private Society."

Fazeli is now planning to expand Private Society in Europe as she has received many requests from the continent.

She says understanding the local market conditions is a must for starting a successful business.

"If you are willing to invest everything financially and emotionally into your business, and surround yourself with people who can advise you, the UAE is the best place. But you must be patient and persistent. Of course, it's financially difficult in the beginning but you have so many opportunities in the UAE to commence a small business and expand it later," observes Fazeli.

'Never give up'
She urged young entrepreneurs to never give up and think out of the box. "Patience and persistence are the most important factors in succeeding in anything. Don't take 'no' for an answer. For every problem, there is a solution," says Fazeli.

She adds that the UAE offers enormous opportunities in terms of growth and development. "If your concept is well thought out and calculated, you can grow faster in the UAE than in some other countries," she concludes.
