Several leaders and experts from various industries across India and the UAE have expressed their confidence in the new generation of Indian startups that are poised to make an impact in the coming years.
Speaking at the Start-up India Summit on Thursday, experts noted that they have placed their bet on the youth of both the UAE and India to secure the futures of their respective countries. The event was organised by the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate-General of India, Dubai, in partnership with iSPIRT, a non-profit think-tank, and supported by TiE Dubai.
The event also highlighted the work of several Indian startups in the software-as-a-service, education technology, financial technology, healthcare technology, and deep tech sectors. These included CloudCherry, Capital Float, Aindra, Locus, Oziom, Faircent, Capillary, Niramal, Fyle, Tone Tag, Tricog, Hotel Logix, Posist, Kred X, Team Indus, and AllgoVision.
Experts at the event called for greater collaboration between the UAE and India, especially on the startup scene. They expressed their wish for more events in the future where both sides can provide a platform for the startup ecosystem in the two countries; and facilitate the exchange of ideas, greater access to funding, interaction with academia and talks between industry experts and investors.
