Six pairs of Emirati siblings march together at SUC graduation event
The prominent guest list of this year's graduation included ambassadors, consul generals, government officials, VIPs, corporate leaders, principals, and counselors from leading schools in the UAE.

Skyline University College, Sharjah, under the patronage of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and one of the oldest private universities in the UAE, has produced more than 7,000 graduates over the years guided by its mission of pursuing academic excellence and instilling knowledge, skills, competencies, and value-based education among its students.
On its 27th Graduation Ceremony, more than 300 students representing 25 nationalities have successfully received their BBA and MBA degrees on November 16 at the University City Hall, University City of Sharjah. The chief guest of the ceremony was Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qassimi, Chairman of Sharjah Media Corporation and Member of the Sharjah Executive Council, UAE. Student of the Year was awarded to Saqar Ahmed Ali Omran Al Ali (UAE), Summa Cum Laude in MBA with Emphasis on E-Governance and Dmytro Fedrov (Ukraine), Cum Laude in BBA Major in International Business.
Highlights of the graduation ceremony include six pairs of Emirati siblings who marched together as graduates this year. Sisters Redah Musabeh Nuhail Al Hafri Alktebi and Meraifa Musabeh Nuhail Al Hafri Alktebi were both awarded with MBA Emphasis on Strategic Management and Leadership degrees in which Redah finished as Summa Cum Laude. Another brothers and sisters who completed MBA with Emphasis on Strategic Management and Leadership were Najla Abdalla Khalifa Deemas Alsuwaidi and Ahmed Abdalla Khalifa Deemas Al Suwaidi. It was also worth-noting the four pairs of siblings who graduated in the same bachelor programme of BBA Major in International Business namely, sisters Fatima Mohamed Saeed Almalihi Al Ali and Maryam Mohamed Saeed Al Melaihi Al Ali; sisters Shaikha Salim Khamis Almukhaini Aljneibi and Khuloud Salim Khamis Almukhaini Aljneibi; brothers Anas Mohammed Hussein Farajallah and Mosaab Mohammed H Farajallah; and brothers Abdulla Khaled Mohammed Sharif Al Khoori and Mohammed Khaled Mohammed Sharif Al Khoori.
Kamal Puri, founder president of Skyline University College, said: "This year, we have launched the School of IT with its first programme offered, the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology - Enterprise Computing (BSIT-EC), a fundamental addition to our programme offerings. We are also looking forward to introducing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) programme as an annexation to our existing BBA and MBA programmes under the School of Business. In the coming years, we are anticipating to produce more graduates from these two programs as we journey towards acquiring a full-fledged university status."
Addressing the graduates, SUC Dean, Dr Amitabh Upadhya told students that all they have acquired in form of knowledge and skills at the university will now be put to test and this is the time to prove themselves worthy of the demands of industry and business for which they have been trained. He advised students to craft a path of success for themselves because a well-planned life is a life that is generative and remains constantly creative, productive, changing, and evolving.
Nitin Anand, SUC Executive Director and Chair of the Executive Council finally presented a memento to Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qassimi as a gesture of appreciation for his gracious presence followed by a vote of thanks to the Chief Guest and other dignitaries for their sincere participation in the event.
