TCL, the world's leading TV brand and internet application provider, has announced that it has entered into an official international TV partnership with Warner Bros Pictures' Justice League, the highly anticipated epic action adventure bringing DC Comics' iconic Super Hero team together for the first time ever on the big screen.
The two parties are joining hands in celebration and promotion of the movie with its fans and consumers around the globe. As part of the international cross-platform partnership, TCL initiates a series of unique joint promotions featuring exclusive 30-second and 15-second TV commercials to stoke excitement ahead of the film's November 17 release in cinemas, as well as VIP movie nights, in-store promotion campaigns, online giveaways and branded souvenirs across TCL's international markets.
"TCL is committed to bringing innovation to life with TV entertainment," said Harry Wu, general manager of Overseas Business Centre, TCL Multimedia.
"Our partnership with Warner Bros Pictures and Justice League fits seamlessly into TCL's core philosophy of bringing our sophisticated, global consumers cutting edge picture and sound technologies that deliver an immersive entertainment experience that is the next best thing to the big screen."
"Just as the Justice League is ultimately about partnership and cooperation, we continue to embrace new opportunities, and a key part of our business is to work with the best content partners to bring more fun and enjoyment to everyone. Our recently-launched products (XESS Series, Cityline Series and Popular Series) are aimed at bringing users with industry-leading picture and sound quality as well as a matchless entertainment experience - the best available outside a movie theater," Wu added.
Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman and The Flash - assemble for the first time ever on the big screen in the epic team-up movie generations of fans have been waiting for. It makes perfect sense to team this exhilarating, high-stakes action adventure with a high-tech TV manufacturer like TCL, whose vision it is to create an absorbing, all-encompassing viewing experience.
TCL's entertainment partnerships with Hollywood have a long history. In 2013, TCL became the official sponsor of the iconic Hollywood movie palace - TCL Chinese Theatre - which has been home to the most prominent red carpet movie premieres and events. To showcase TCL's mantra to enhance entertainment, the Theatre owns the world's largest IMAX auditorium, as well as the only movie palace in California that offers a state-of-the-art IMAX Laser projection experience. In addition, TCL has been dedicating its marketing investment in entertainment partnerships. The company has had close associations with films such as Iron Man, The Avengers, X-Men: Days of Future Past and Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
To inspire people with inventive technologies, TCL continues to connect with global consumers via a series of sports and entertainment marketing activities, such as its sponsorships of the NBA Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, soccer team San Jose Earthquakes, The Ellen Show, CBF (Brazil), Rosario Central football club (Argentina), PBA (Philippines) as well as The Melbourne Cup and MVFC (Australia).
Justice League is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics superhero team, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is intended to be the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and is scheduled to be released on November 17 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX.
