Qatar Airways begins service to Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah - An Airbus A320 operates the Ras Al Khaimah route, featuring 144 seats in a two-class configuration of 12 seats in business class and 132 seats in economy.

 Qatar Airways QR1120 landed at the Ras Al Khaimah International Airport for the first time on Tuesday, marking the start of scheduled services between the emirate and Doha.
Qatar Airways will initially operate four flights a week with the hope that the frequency will develop into a daily service in the near future. An Airbus A320 operates the Ras Al Khaimah route, featuring 144 seats in a two-class configuration of 12 seats in business class and 132 seats in economy.
Eng Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, chairman of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and Department of Civil Aviation, said: "Through Qatar Airways, Ras Al Khaimah will have stronger connections to the wider world, including our existing tourism source markets in Europe, the CIS, Russia, China and India." It also presents an efficient option for the RAK business community and their visitors, he added.
