Flydubai has been flying to the southern city of Rostov-on-Don since 2013.
The airline's extensive network in Russia includes Kazan, Krasnodar, Mineralnye Vody, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Ufa and Yekaterinburg providing the large Russian expatriate community in Dubai and the UAE with the option to visit family and friends more often for less.
In 2015, flydubai passenger numbers grew by 22 per cent between Dubai and Russia. Across Europe, the Dubai carrier reported 14 per cent increase in passenger numbers for last year.
