Service advisors from Liberty Automobiles won three out of the top five positions in the final round of the General Motors Middle East Service Advisors Skills Competition 2015. The annual regional contest saw 386 service advisors from the Middle East region's GM dealerships taking part.
The rigorous competition was held at the Dubai GM Academy. The competition consisted of two rounds: firstly to shortlist 10 from 386 contestants, and then five from the top 10. The evaluation was based on 'service satisfaction survey' (SSS) results, completion of training, written tests and role-play sessions. At the end of the first round, Liberty took four positions out of the top 10, and in the final round, three of the top five. Liberty's winning team comprised Abu Sayed Chow, Ayman Mohammed, Waleed Roby and Alfredo Orbiso.
Shaikh Khalid Abdulaziz Al Qasimi, Chairman of Liberty Group, said: "The stellar performance by our service advisors demonstrates that Liberty's 'customer satisfaction' culture is ingrained in our entire organisation and we consistently remain true to our mission of delivering ultimate service and enjoyable vehicle ownership experience to our customers. We are really proud of our team's performance in this prestigious competition."
In addition, Liberty's Dubai service centre and Sharjah Service Centre took the first and second places respectively in the regional 2015 GM Best Cadillac Service Centre Awards.
Further, in the 2015 GM Service and Parts Managers Excellence Programme, Liberty Automobiles was the only GM dealer in the Middle East to win all three awards: Parts Managers Excellence programme, Service Manager Excellence programme - Chevrolet, and Service Manager Excellence programme - Cadillac.
