Shaikh Saud allocates 650 plots
to nationals

(Wam) / 8 March 2013

His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has given orders to allocate 650 plots for commercial and industrial use for nationals in support of their projects overseen by the Executive Council of the emirate.

The move aims to encourage nationals to start commercial projects and tap opportunities offered by the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

The initiative stipulates streamlined governmental procedures for beneficiaries to facilitate using the plots and make maximum benefit from the move.

“The approach of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his initiatives which cover all emirates of the country to meet the needs and requirements of nationals represent a guiding light for us towards fulfilling the aspirations and ambitions of nationals and providing prosperous living for them as the pillar of all initiatives and process of development,” Shaikh Saud said in remarks at a meeting in Qasr Khuzam Palace with tribal dignitaries of Ras Al Khaimah.

Shaikh Saud expressed appreciation of efforts by the leadership to boost the comprehensive development in the UAE and to prioritise the interests of nationals harnessing all capabilities and resources to provide dignified living. This, he added, transformed the UAE into global favorite destination for investments from all over the world and into an oasis for  prosperity, security and stability

The government led by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, spared no effort to bolster its services to nationals and residents alike and to keep up with government development in accordance to the highest international standards, Shaikh Saud added.
