President gets cable from Amir of Kuwait

ABU DHABI — The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received here yesterday a cable of thanks from His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, in response to a condolence cable sent earlier by Shaikh Khalifa on the death of Shaikh Saad Al Abdullah Al Sabah.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai also received a similar cable.

 

Meanwhile, the UAE delegation led by Shaikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan returned home yesterday after offering condolence to Shaikh Sabah and to the members of the Kuwaiti Royal Family on the death of Shaikh Saad.

 

The delegation offered condolences on behalf of Shaikh Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammed and Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

 

The delegation members were seen off at Kuwait airport by Shaikh Mohammed Al Khalid Al Sabah, Adviser at the Kuwaiti Royal Court and Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Chief of the Kuwaiti Royal Court.
