By Nada S. Mussallam (Our staff reporter) / 28 January 2008

ABU DHABI — Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Welfare, Special Needs Care and Minors Affairs has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to exchange expertise.

The agreement was signed yesterday on behalf of Zayed Higher Organisation by Mohammed Fadil Al Hamili, deputy chairman of the organisation, and Dr Khalid Aloosh, resident coordinator for the UNDP.

“The pact comes in line with the Zayed Higher Organisation’s bid to attract the best international expertise to improve the services provided to children with special needs,” said Al Hamili.

As per the MoU, the UNDP will cooperate with Zayed Higher Organisation in executing its programmes and initiatives to serve children with special needs.
