Khalifa, Mohammed greet heads of states

ABU DHABI — The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, sent yesterday a cable of greetings to Syrian President Bashar Al Assad on the occasion of Syria’s Independence Day.

A similar cable of greetings on the occasion was sent to the Syrian President by General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Shaikh Khalifa sent a similar cable of greetings to Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe.

The President also sent cables of greetings to Margrethe II, Queen of Denmark, and to Henri, Grand Duke of Luxembourg, the head of state of Luxembourg, on the occasion of their birthdays.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, sent similar cables of greetings to Syrian President Bashar Al Assad, Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, Margrethe II, Queen of Denmark and to Henri, Grand Duke of Luxembourg.
