Khaleej SC, Ajman SC promoted

AJMAN — Al Khaleej SC and Ajman SC have been officially promoted to the first division of the UAE Etisalat League following their respective victories over Dibba and Masafi in the final round of the second division competition yesterday.
Al Khaleej beat Dibba 3-0 and claimed the second division title as Ajman earned a narrow 1-0 win over Masafi and finished runners-up.
Meanwhile, the new season will kick off on September 14 and the curtain opener will feature the E-League champions against the President Cup’s winners in the Super Cup showpiece under the supervision of the pro-league committee.
