SAREGAMAPA, THE POPULAR Indian reality TV shwo brings its equally popular kids’ show ‘Little Champs’ to Dubai this weekend.Five finalists of last year’s cometition: Prathamesh, Aarya, Rohit, Mugdha and Kartiki will be performing live at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium on Thursday, May 14.
The youngest of the Little Champs is Mugdha Bhagvan Vishyampayan, all of eight years old, from Alibaug, Raigad. Mugdha wants to be a popular singer when she grows up; playing the harmonium is one of her favourite pastimes along with reading and swimming.
Also aspiring to be a famous singer is Kartiki Kalyanji Gaikwad, 11, from Pune. She loves dancing apart, of course, from singing.
Thirteen year old Rohit Shyam Raut hails from Latur; his ambition is to become a playback singer. Rohit loves to watch musical programmes on the television, and is also interested in drawing and cricket.
Prathamesh Umesh Laghate of Ratnagiri and Arya Sameer Ambekar of Pune, both 14, are the oldest in this famous five gang. While Prathamesh spends time playing the tabla, cycling and drawing, Arya’s interests are studies, reading and puzzles. Both want to become singers.
