10 UAEU students to benefit from Dh200,000 grant

AL AIN — Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has ordered a grant of Dh200,000 for the pre-eminent students’ programme of the UAE University (UAEU) College of Education.

The grant will help 10 distinguished students in the English language to participate in the summer training programme at Northern Kentucky University in the United States, under supervision of Dr Najla Al Rawy, from the EC.

The beneficiaries of the grant are Fatima Al Bloshy, Amira Ibrahim, Roada Al Shamsy, Rowaya Rashid, Shajija Al Jabry, Ghadir Al Kindy, Kulaythem Saeed, Shayma Abas, Fatima Ali and Badrya Mousa. Dr Najla said the Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed grant aims at helping best students to gain more experience in English language by travelling abroad and dealing with English-speaking communities.
