DPS Sharjah Enter Semifinals

DUBAI - Last year’s runners-up DPS Sharjah reached the semifinals of 6th Sundeep Batavia Memorial International under-12 Boys Inter-school cricket tournament.

Ecole Mondiale World School Mumbai Girls also reached the semifinals of 4th DPS International Inter-school basketball tournament, organized by Delhi Private School Sharjah.

In a one-sided match, DPS boys stunned Sharjah Indian School by nine wickets. SIS could score just 35/6 in 15 overs, while DPS boys chased the target in 2.4 overs losing only one wicket.

In another match, Indian School Muscat defeated Emirates National School by 32 runs.

EMWS girls, meanwhile, defeated DPS Dubai 34–15 in basketball. 

Kothari Vibha Vinay did bulk of the scoring for Mumbai Girls in the game with 30 points.
