Blast outside hotel ‘apparent’ suicide attack

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan - An explosion outside a four-star hotel in Pakistan’s garrison city of Rawalpindi on Monday was apparently caused by a suicide bomber, a police official told AFP.
“We believe that it was a suicide attack and our initial investigation also endorses this but we will be able to say something with finality only after our investigation is complete,” police official Babar Pervis said.
