Event boosts world’s confidence in UAE

His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces said that the successes achieved by the Dubai International Aerospace Exhibition, year after year, has entrenched the world’s confidence in the ability and efficiency of UAE nationals in the organization of such unique global events.

In a statement given to the Nation Shield (Dira-al-Watan) magazine published by the Armed Forces on the occasion of the Dubai Airshow and Dubai International Aerospace Exhibition 2009, Shaikh Mohammed said:.

“If our national cadre had acquired over the past years substantial experience in the organization of specialised exhibitions, and if we possess the leadership competencies in technical, administrative, scientific areas as well as the human resources that possess the skills and abilities to innovate, our conviction will remain firm that the UAE youth have enough potential to achieve more and more in this area and in all other areas in the service of the nation. This will enable us to achieve the goals of progress and advancement, prosperity for the future generations”.

“The wide participation in this event from around the world by the major world-class companies in the aviation industry confirms the validity of the vision and the path of the UAE under the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the support of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Their Highnesses the UAE Supreme Council Members and Ruler’s of emirates”, Shaikh Mohammed Bin Zayed said..

“Such events are organised not only with the aim of transforming the UAE into a regional centre for exhibitions and international conferences, but also a regional centre for the global economy in all fields of trade, investment, industry, science and technology and re-export”, he added.
