Du to Share Etisalat Infrastructure

ABU DHABI - Etisalat has agreed to permit its only competitor in the country, du, to use its infrastructure in the second half of this year.

This was disclosed here by Mohammed Omran, Chairman of Etisalat, at a session at the Abu Dhabi Media Summit which entered the second day on Wednesday.  “We are committed to the UAE Government and the regulator on the network sharing between us and the du. We are working towards that. There is a time-table,” Omran said, but did not elaborate on the time-table.

GTCC Awards Dh484m Contracts

DUBAI - Gulf Technical Construction Company (GTCC), a subsidiary of Drake & Scull Construction (DSC) has been awarded two contracts valued at Dh484 million by DAMAC Properties in Dubai.

Saleh Muradweij, Executive Director of DSC, said: “We feel that we were a natural choice for this project given DAMAC’s eminent association with premium contractors and we look forward to a long and successful working relationship.”

National Bonds, Emirates Post Deal

dubai —National Bonds Corporation PJSC, the Shariah-compliant saving scheme, has announced a strategic alliance with Emirates Post, the national postal services provider of the UAE, to enable customers to purchase National Bonds savings certificates from over 100 Emirates Post offices across the UAE, expanding the NBC distribution network to more than 550 outlets.
