Khalifa Receives Mubarak’s Letter

ABU DHABI — The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Sunday received a letter from Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, dealing with bilateral relations and issues of common interest.

The message was delivered to Shaikh Khalifa by the Egyptian Minister and Chief of Egyptian Intelligence, Omer Suleiman, at Al Bateen Palace in the presence of Shaikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President’s Representative.

Shaikh Khalifa conveyed his regards to President Mubarak, wishing him good health and prosperity for the Egyptian people.

Also present at the meeting were National Security Adviser Shaikh Haza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Lt-Gen. Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Shaikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Zayed Charity and Humanitarian Works, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and other Shaikhs, ministers andhigh-ranking officials.
