UAE Leaders Mourn Loss of Lives in Kuwait Fire

ABU DHABI — The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, sent a cable of condolence to the Amir of Kuwait, His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah over the loss of lives in a fire in Jahra.
The fire in a wedding tent claimed 41 lives and injured 76 people.
Shaikh Khalifa expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and wished speedy recovery to the injured.
A similar cable of condolence was sent to the Amir of Kuwait by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. —
