Call to speed up relief and compensation

PESHAWAR — Minister of States for Water and Power and Provincial President of Pakistan Muslim League (QA) Engineer Amir Muqam has urged the NWFP government to speed up distribution of compensation and relief amount among the victims of October 8 earthquake.

“The federal government has assured provision of more relief funds in the earthquake affected areas,” he remarked while addressing PML (QA) affiliated newly-elected district Nazims in here yesterday. The meeting was attended by district nazims included Dr Ibad from Shangla, Shehram Khan from Swabi, Sardar Yousaf from Mansehra, Jamal Nasar from Swat, Riaz Kundi from Tank and Gohar Saif Ullah from Kohat.
