GCC, China discuss free trade deal today

RIYADH — Meetings aimed at reaching Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between GCC countries and China will kick off today in Muscat.

The three-day meetings will discuss lists of commodities that would be covered by the FTA, technical trade barriers and sanitary and phytosanitary measures. It is expected that the two sides will sign the FTA by the end of this year.
